What I like about my work
The opportunity to work on a variety of transactions in different sectors and to assist clients in reaching their objectives on each transaction.
What I’ve done in the past
I started practising with Buddle Findlay in Wellington (2000-2004) before moving to London for four years. In London I worked in the commercial department of the Project Finance team at Lovells and then moved in-house to a leading UK health services provider, InHealth Group Limited.
I joined Anderson Lloyd in early 2008. Anderson Lloyd appealed because of its strong reputation, large South Island presence and the progressive nature of its practice.
My approach to working with my clients
I try to make any transaction as straightforward as possible for clients by offering solutions to issues and proactively endeavouring to complete the deal as simply and quickly as possible.
I consider my experience in business has given me a greater level of commercial understanding and I am able to tailor my advice more effectively.
What I enjoy at work
The fast pace and friendly atmosphere.
What I enjoy outside of work
Boating in the Queen Charlotte Sound, tennis, squash and spending time with my young family.
What I enjoy about living in the South Island
It’s a great place to raise a family and enjoy the outdoors.
