What I like about my work

I like the range of clients and challenges that comes with working for Anderson Lloyd.  The variety and the complexity of the work required is both stimulating and rewarding.

What I’ve done in the past

Having qualified in the UK, I worked for a number of years as a planner in the Environment and Planning Services Department of the Invercargill City Council while qualifying in New Zealand.

I moved to Christchurch working first for the RM team at Lane Neave before joining Anderson Lloyd in 2004.

My approach to working with my clients

Our clients invariably have a vast understanding of their business. My focus is to listen to the client, obtain their perspective and to advise them on the most effective means of achieving results.

What I enjoy at work

We have some great clients who are involved in numerous interesting and challenging projects.  I enjoy the opportunities that they offer to think in creative ways and to work as a part of team to deliver the outcomes our clients need.

What I enjoy outside of work

I enjoy the outdoors, time with my young family and most sports either as a participant or spectator.  I'm a two time competitor in the annual Christchurch to Akaroa cycle race "Le Race".

What I enjoy about living in the South Island

I'm originally from Ireland which shares a similar diversity of landscape and a people who have an enjoyment of the outdoors -  so I'm right at home here in the South Island!!
