What I like about my work

I enjoy working alongside clients to help them successfully fulfil their development aspirations.

What I’ve done in the past

I summer clerked at Anderson Lloyd while at University, and then joined the firm upon graduating. I moved to London for 18 months between 2002 and 2003. While there I worked for the London Borough of Barnet, managing their property team, before joining KLegal as their sole planning lawyer for London. I returned to New Zealand and Anderson Lloyd in October 2003.

My approach to working with my clients

My approach is collaborative. I seek to understand each client’s business and environment so that I can provide them with commercial, tailored advice in a timely manner.

What I enjoy at work

I enjoy the team environment and the fact that the resource management team comprises a large number of specialists.

What I enjoy outside of work

I enjoy spending time relaxing with my family.

What I enjoy about living in the South Island

I enjoy being so close to family and work, the down-to-earth nature of the people, and the ever changing seasons (often all in one day!). I'm not totally biased though - I'm married to an (ex)Aucklander!
