What I do

I provide financial reporting and decision-making information to the CEO and the Board. I also complete statutory returns and manage the firm's administrative functions.

What I like about my work

I enjoy providing solutions and looking at how to continually improve the way we do things. I believe in providing useful information in an easy-to-understand format.

What I’ve done in the past

After graduating, I spent six years working in the UK and Australia. I returned to Dunedin to raise a family in 1990. I’ve run my own businesses, and worked in a wide range of industries from biotechnology, transport, manufacturing, communications, IT, through to retailing. I’ve always been interested in law firms and joined Anderson Lloyd in August 2006.

What I enjoy at work

I enjoy the mental stimulation of working with intelligent people.

What I enjoy outside of work

Mountain biking, sailing, fishing, skiing – both water and mountain, golf and tennis. I’m up for anything really.

What I enjoy about living in the South Island

Southern values.

Dunedin is a brilliant place to bring up a family, its safe, and offers a complete range of top-class facilities – sporting, educational and cultural. Everything is at your fingertips.

The bonus is Central Otago, which is only 90 minutes away.
